Full-Time (38 hours)

CEJI is offering a paid one-year traineeship in project management, located in Brussels.  The candidate will have the following responsibilities:

Project Management Assistance

  • Liaising with partners and subcontractors as part of implementation of a major European project
  • Keeping order  of project documentation, including content outputs and administration
  • Assist with project reports and new funding proposals

Project and Programme Development

  • Contributing to new programme and project developments including:
    • training materials
    • educational videos
    • communication and dissemination strategy
    • short research papers
  • Doing community outreach as part of a global effort to disseminate project outputs
  • Identifying new potential partners and opportunities


  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and shared document folders as well as comfort to experiment with other programmes such as Prezi, Powtoons
  • Fluent English and French;  Dutch and other languages an asset
  • Previous project management experience
  • Excellent organizational, writing and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and in a team
  • Ability to work productively from a distance within a dispersed team
  • Service-oriented, eager to learn attitude
