EUROPEAN PROJECT COORDINATOR

Full-Time (38 hours)

CEJI is seeking a full-time project coordinator for a new two-year EU funded project called Networks Overcoming Antisemitism (NOA).   The position is based in Brussels and  will have the following responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Liaising with partners and subcontractors to ensure successful implementation of all project activities
  • Ensuring the quality and organisation of project documentation, including content outputs in various stages, administration and financial records
  • Project reporting, internal and external
  • Support to co-financing fundraising efforts

Project and Programme Development

  • Contributing to new programme and project developments including: research, educational materials, communication campaigns and dissemination strategy
  • Doing community outreach as part of a global effort to disseminate project outputs
  • Identifying new potential partners and opportunities

Qualifications

  • Previous project management experience, ideally with EU funded projects
  • Understanding of the nature of antisemitism and current European policy developments in this area
  • Understanding of European Jewish communities and organisational structures
  • Previous training, facilitation and advocacy experience
  • Excellent organisational, writing and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and in a team
  • Ability to work productively from a distance within a dispersed team
  • Service-oriented, problem-solving, eager to learn attitude
  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and shared document folders as well as comfort to experiment with other programmes
  • Fluent English; French and other languages desired

Start Date: Immediately

Conditions

  • Full-time position with 4 weeks vacation plus national and major Jewish holidays
  • Gross salary in euros 2800/month
