Call for Participants For The 7-Day Allyship Challenge

CEJI is looking for 5 participants (18-25 years old) respectively from Belgium, Italy, Romania and Spain for a total of 20 participants to take part in the 7-Day Allyship Challenge.
Background/Purpose
In the framework of the EU-funded project Relation, CEJI is looking for people between 18-25 years old to take part in an awareness educational campaign. Participants will work with staff members to develop public awareness on combating antisemitism, racism, xenophobia and other forms of intolerance and understanding of Jewish life as well as create a campaign running in the month of May.
The 7-day Allyship challenge allows for approaching sensitive topics in a safe and brave environment. The activity enables participants to improve their relationships with people from diverse cultural and/or religious backgrounds. By making them aware of their relationships with others, analysing the complexity of intercultural relations, and finding ways of optimising and living diversity at its fullest.
Specific tasks include
• Participation in a 3-hours online workshop;
• Development of an action plan for the Challenge;
• Actively taking part in the 7-Day Challenge between 8th to 12th of May 2023.
Skill/Requirements
• Good knowledge of social platforms functioning (including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube).
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Resourceful, determined, and diligent in the search for information.
• Detail-oriented in note-taking and keeping good records.
• Proactive to take initiative and solve problems.
• Interest and a good understanding of the manifestations of discrimination.
• Ability to work independently and with an international team.
Participants will be able to work with innovative tools that will help to explore the diversity of their local Jewish communities. The objective is to value diversity and equity. Each participant will receive a compensation of €60,00
