CEJI and ENIL Youth Network Organise “Creating Safe(r) and Brave(r) Spaces Study Session”

17/06/2024

Thirty young leaders from diverse backgrounds participated in a week-long (June 10th – 16th) study session in Strasbourg organised by CEJI and the European Network on Independent Living (ENIL), with the support of the Youth Department of the Council of Europe. The goal of the session was to reflect on unconscious biases and inclusive language, and learn how to build allyships.

In a time of increasing polarization and community isolation, diverse allyships are more important than ever. Through enhanced collaboration and knowledge-sharing, young people gain the tools and skills necessary to become change agents, creating safer, more inclusive societies. While additional outputs should come out in the months to come, you can read more here.
