CEJI has developed a 45 minutes-long online video course for journalist on hate speech and how it can be best countered.
This introductory course especially designed for journalists who are or may become victims of online hate. The course covers a range of topics and offers practical guidance that equips journalists with appropriate tools to deal with hateful comments and attacks online.
The course was developed for the European Journalism Center’s DACHS project that focuses on the automation of hate speech recognition in order to facilitate its analysis in supporting countermeasures at scale.
